Historias de Lurín

Historias de Lurín is a documentary highlighting the stories of the people who live and work around the Lurín Valley archeological sites in Lima, Peru. From the cement company that owns the land, to the archeologists mining its past, to the people living nearby, this land means different things to different people but is crucially important to all. I spent time in Lima with Micaela Pesantes, Ari Joseph and Eduardo Lytton conducting and shooting interviews for a 22 minute film – the first cut of which was shown at the end of our nine day stay.
