That’s not what I said

That's not what I said is a series of programming experiments designed to parse and visualize communication from romantic relationships. By using a couple's e-mails and text messages as the artifacts of a relationship, it becomes possible to deconstruct and examine everything from what kind of language was used throughout, to when moods shifted and changed over the course of a time together. Early experiments were done using Processing while later work used Arduino microcontrollers, and a breath sensor so the program could effectively be performed live to music.
